1.2  Safety

‍ ‍

Safety at EDC is our number one focus each and every day. All employees play a vital role in this aspect of our company from defensive driving to being aware of our surroundings when out on the road. Our main goal is to return home safely to our families every day and that is why we stress safe driving. There will be daily safety talks about unsafe behaviors, multiple safety videos on our mapping software to enhance our driving abilities, and weekly safety meetings to discuss what events we seen on the road each week and how to help prevent accidents. Accidents have a huge financial impact on the company.

‍ ‍

1.3  Changes in Policy

‍ ‍

Change is inevitable at EDC as we strive to bring the best services to our customers. Therefore, we expressly reserve the right to interpret, modify, suspend, cancel, or dispute, with or without notice, all or any part of our policies, procedures, and benefits at any time with or without prior notice. Changes will be effective on the dates determined by EDC, and after those dates all superseded policies will be null and void.

‍ ‍

Any employee who is unclear on any policy or procedure set forth in this handbook should consult a member of management.

‍ ‍

Complaint and Reporting Procedure:

‍ ‍

Employees should immediately report any unsafe conditions to a member of management without fear of reprisal. In the case of an accident that results in injury regardless of how seemingly insignificant the injury, employees must notify a manager.

‍ ‍

‍ ‍

2.     GENERAL EMPLOYMENT
